I'm so excited. Last June, I purchased tickets to see The Blue Man Group in Portland, Maine. (Our *big* city that's hours away from where I live.) Now that it's February 5th, we're finally off to go see this performance!
And this is where we're eating lunch today.
And we have dinner reservations here.
And we're staying at this hotel.
For most of you, a trip to a city might be an every day thing. Or maybe you live in one. The town I live in barely crests the 1, 000 person mark. And, my husband is a "plow guy." So we never get away in the winter months, which are most of the months of the year where I live.

ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting evening you have planned! I saw the Blue Man Group a few years ago and it was a really fun/cool experience. As for going into the city...I grew up in Chicago, so I was used to being able to do a vast amount of things, whether it was during the summer or winter. Although I don't live in a tiny town now, I do miss going to the city, so I understand your excitement.
